Deanna Santiago discovered her talent for designing garments when given the task of creating costumes for her Brazilian arts dance ensemble’s premier performance. She went on to continue making dance performance costumes for young and professional dancers. Her eye for design and creativity has received recognition from the Pittsburgh Cultural Arts Organization for craftsmanship in jewelry arts. In 2014 she was awarded a fashion illustration scholarship for her promising skill and talent while pursuing her fashion design education in San Francisco. Deanna is also the 2016 For the Sake of Art Wearable Art Fashion Competition winner.
Passionate about the craftsmanship and artistry of her work. As a designer, Deanna strives to create beauty in all things. Her aesthetic is inspired by the grace of the eternal feminine, nature, and structural forms to capture the spirit of the modern muse.
