The Becky Hollands brand is a celebration of the individualistic woman who is confident, artistic and the ultimate “modern sophisticate.” As a designer to Houston’s social elite and fashion hounds, Becky Hollands’ coveted exclusive designs have been recognized by the likings of Duyen Huynh, Hannah McNair, Joanna Marks, Joanne King Herring, Page Parkes and Y Ping Sun, among others.
Hollands’ inspirations come from her love of art, architecture and her own bi-cultural upbringing. Growing up in a family with both Chinese and British parents, she learned the balance of expressing her ideas liberally, yet in the most exquisite manner. Within her designs are innovative selections of textiles, expressive clash of lines, and forms and textures that come together in a harmonious state of elegance and agility.
Hollands holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Apparel Design and Manufacturing, with minors in Art, Portuguese, and Mandarin from Texas Tech University where she received the Glenna Goodacre Scholarship for Creativity.
After a decade-long career in Los Angeles and New York with fashion houses such as Rachel Pally, Fresh Ink, Cesar Galindo and Leon Max, this traveling designer launched her brand in Houston, which includes seasonal prêt-a-porter collections, and Becky Hollands Atelier, which offers exclusive one-of-a-kind designs.
Inspired by certain influential Houstonians, the Spring/Summer 2017 debut of “The Houstonian” Collection will showcase the vivacious spirit of her hometown.
Fueled by her zeal for fashion and her devotion to philanthropy, you can find Hollands’ designs through charity gala auctions of organizations such as Junior League, Asia Society, DIFFA- Design Industries Fighting Aids, BBBS- Big Brothers Big Sisters, Champions Kids Camp, Mission of Yahweh, Ronald McDonald, and many more.
