Saturday Runways will honor Style Setter Lucinda Loya with a portion of proceeds benefitting the Children’s Assessment Center (CAC).
In a word, Lucinda Loya is passionate. Spanning design, career,
family, charity, her passion is prevalent in all walks of life, including
the professional, personal, and social worlds. Lucinda has built a
name for herself as one of the nations’ premiere interior decorators,
making Houston-based Lucinda Loya Interiors one of the most
sought after design firms in the country. Her trademark “eclectic”,
high end-style has graced the covers of the world’s foremost design
and décor magazines, has been featured on networks such as CBS’s
– Living Large, their TV series, Law and Order/CSI, not to mention
HGTV’s – Selling NY…All showcasing her work from coast to coast.
Lucinda has grand taste when it comes to interior design but stays
enthusiastic and sensible when working with her clients. Always on
the cutting edge, she can unite budget conscience pieces with
high-end art, creating a poetic symphony. Her ability to think “out of
the box” surpasses her client’s expectations. She possesses a flair of
her own and a confidence to match, in turn, the client finds comfort
in her knowledge and precision, when it comes to selection, taste,
and balance. Lucinda’s playful sense of humor benefits well in
decorating as it adds character and personality to the composition,
even in the smallest unexpected places. She loves to expose her
client’s passions and incorporate them with her artistic edge to
create a space indisputably unique. Her level of sophistication is
second to none and her dazzle is invigorating.
This proud mother of two is a truly beautiful person both inside and
out, Lucinda is also known as one of Houston’s top trendsetters.
Chosen for her beauty, contribution, and influence in the
community, she was honored twice as H-Texas Magazine’s list of
Houston’s 25 Most Beautiful People. In 2008, Lucinda received the
Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America’s, Women of Distinction
Award, a remarkable accomplishment. Hand selected to be a
member of the Vogue 100 in 2010, Lucinda helps this exclusive
group of women to define modern power, through grace, style,
achievement and influence. A three time honoree, of the Houston
Chronicle’s Best Dressed list benefitting The March of Dimes, granted
her “Hall of Fame” status. Lucinda’s eye for style transcend both
FASHION and home décor.
